Test prep · Coral Gables
Your test has a date. We build back from it.
SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, MCAT, DAT, OAT and TOEFL. A diagnostic first, then a schedule that ends on the day your child sits it.
Pick a date and see the schedule.
How the prep is built
Knowing the material and knowing the format are two different problems
Most students are short on one of them. Guessing which is an expensive way to spend a term.
The diagnostic shows where the points are actually going. From there the schedule runs to the test date, with the review intervals widening deliberately instead of collapsing into a cram in the last fortnight.
Diagnostic
So the plan starts from evidence rather than a feeling about which parts are weak.
The content that is costing points
Taught one to one. For the quantitative sections that means an instructor with real mathematics credentials, not a prep book read one chapter ahead.
Format and pacing
Timing, when to skip, and how to stop losing points to the clock rather than to the material.
Spaced review to the date
Widening intervals, so what was learned in week two is still there in week nine.
Two very different buyers
And we treat them that way
SAT and ACT
High school juniors and seniors with a target school in mind. Math, reading and writing, plus the pacing work that turns knowledge into a score.
The two tests are built differently. The diagnostic is how we work out which one suits your child.
Graduate exams
GRE, GMAT, MCAT, DAT and OAT for University of Miami students, post-baccs and career changers, a mile and a half from campus.
Krishan Gonzalez holds a masters in mathematics and finance from the University of Miami and taught mathematics for fourteen years.
TOEFL
For students whose academic English is the thing standing between them and admission, rather than the subject matter.
Our approach
The fastest way to learn is to take your time
Review at widening intervals instead of cramming. Change the schedule and watch what a term of studying retains.
Cramming buys the test day. Spacing buys the year.
These curves model the shape of the spacing effect. They are illustrative, not measured student results.
Designed for student success
Focus-driven cubicles and smart tech
Our private cubicle layout eliminates visual distractions so students can focus entirely on their work. Each station has a large, interactive tablet that automatically saves all student and tutor notes.
Camera recording is available as an option. Where a family wants it, your student can get home and review both the visual work and the tutor's exact explanations.

Questions parents ask
When should we start?
Work backwards from the test date. Starting earlier mostly buys wider spacing between reviews, which is what makes the material hold.
SAT or ACT?
The diagnostic answers that. The two tests are built differently.
Do you guarantee a score?
No. Anyone guaranteeing a score is guessing about your child. We would rather show you the diagnostic and let you decide.
Is this a class?
No. One instructor, one student, every session.
Ten seats. One could be your child's.
The assessment is free and takes one session. You will know more than another term of guessing would tell you.
