High school tutoring · Grades 9 to 12 · Coral Gables
Four years that count. One test at the end.
Algebra 2, chemistry, AP Calculus, the essay, and the SAT or ACT that sits on top of all of it. One-on-one in the center, and online practice from home between sessions.
The courses
The grade is this term's. The gap is usually from an earlier one.
A junior losing points in pre-calculus is usually losing them to Algebra 1. The free consultation finds that point, and the schedule after it catches the class rather than restarting the year.
- Mathematics. Algebra 1 and 2, geometry, pre-calculus and trigonometry, calculus including AP AB and BC, statistics including AP.
- Sciences. Biology, chemistry and physics, including AP, and anatomy and physiology.
- English. Reading comprehension, and essay and academic writing.
- Computing. Programming, data structures and computer science coursework.
One instructor, one student, every session. Ten students at a time. The center.

SAT and ACT
Two ways to prepare. They work best together.
Knowing the material and knowing the format are two different problems. The center fixes the first one-on-one. The practice platform drills the second, from home, as often as you want.
In person, one-on-one
A diagnostic first, then a schedule built backwards from the test date: the content that is costing points, taught by an instructor with real mathematics credentials, then format and pacing, then spaced review so week two is still there in week nine.
Juniors and seniors with a target school in mind. Starts with the free consultation.
How the prep is built →Online, at your own pace
Exam-style SAT and ACT questions one at a time, with a written explanation for every answer and your percent correct by skill after each session. Unlimited full-length timed tests with every plan (students 13 and up). Done from home, on a phone or a laptop.
Every exam starts with three free sessions. A parent buys the plan for a student under 18.
See the plans →Both
The practice shows which skills are costing points. The sessions fix them. The next practice set shows whether they stayed fixed. That loop is the whole method, and it is why the tutoring and the platform are built to be used together.

What "Start free" gives you, and what it doesn't
Every exam on the practice platform starts with three free sessions, with no trial clock. For a student 13 or over, no card is needed. For a child under 13, the free sessions unlock after a card-verified parental consent: any plan, or a $25 deposit refunded after the first set. Here is exactly where the line is.
Free, for each exam
- An account, and a parent account with student profiles if the student is under 18.
- Three practice sessions of 25 exam-style questions each, drawn from a free set of around 150 questions per exam.
- The correct answer to every question at the end of each session.
- Your percent correct by skill, so you can see which topics are costing points.
- A worked solution for the first two questions of each set, to show you what the explanations look like.
With a plan
- Every question in the exam's bank, not only the free set.
- Sessions of 10, 25 or 50 questions, as many as you want.
- A written explanation for every answer, not just the first two.
- Unlimited full-length timed practice tests, in Exam mode or with Solutions Check, with every plan.
- For a family: every student profile on the parent's account practices under the parent's plan.
When the three free sessions are used, the platform asks you to choose a plan; nothing is charged until you do. A student under 18 asks a parent, who buys from the parent dashboard. Plans and prices.
Our approach
The fastest way to learn is to take your time
Review at widening intervals instead of cramming. Change the schedule and watch what a term of studying retains.
Cramming buys the test day. Spacing buys the year.
These curves model the shape of the spacing effect. They are illustrative, not measured student results.
Designed for student success
Focus-driven cubicles and smart tech
Our private cubicle layout reduces visual distractions so students can focus entirely on their work. Each station has a large, interactive tablet that automatically saves all student and tutor notes.
Audio recording is available as an option. Where a family opts in, you can hear exactly how each session was taught, and the tablet keeps the session's notes.

Questions parents ask
Do you tutor the course, or the test?
Both, and they are different jobs. Course tutoring follows the school's syllabus and the next exam. Test prep is built backwards from the SAT or ACT date. Many students do one, then the other.
SAT or ACT?
The diagnostic answers that. The two tests are built differently, and the online practice shows your SAT and ACT results side by side if you want to try both.
Is the online practice the same as the tutoring?
No. The platform is practice: real exam-style questions with explanations, done from home at your own pace. Tutoring is one instructor and one student in the center, working on what the practice shows is weak.
What does Start free include?
Three sessions of 25 questions for each exam, with the correct answers and your percent by skill. The full question bank, every explanation and the full-length timed tests come with a plan. The section above has the full list.
My child is under 18. Who signs up?
A parent. The parent creates the account, adds the student as a profile, and buys any plan from the parent dashboard. The student practices under it.
Do you guarantee a score?
No. Anyone guaranteeing a score is guessing about your child. We would rather show you the diagnostic and let you decide.
Ten seats. One could be your child's.
The consultation is free and takes one session. You will know more than another term of guessing would tell you.
Before the consultation you sign our short Client Services Agreement, by email or at the center; the consultation takes place once it is signed.
